Vertical Rice/Dhal Washer
This vertical rice washer is a unique one. It acts as a soaking vessel cum Rice/Dhal washer. In other horizontal type rice washers, Rice is only cleaned and not 100% washed. But in this Vertical Rice/Dhal washer, the design is such that it is 100% cleaned and washed with less water consumption. In this Rice washer, vertical baffle type blades 3 nos are fixed at 120° apart with 8 barriers at the outer Dia of the vessel. Motor with gear box with speed control system is fixed at the top side of the machine. Therefore, the speed of the rotating blades can be controlled to facilitate better rice washing. At the bottom side of the machine two ball valves are fixed. One ball valve is used for waste water discharge and another ball valve is used for washed rice collection. This vertical rice washer consists of stand, cylindrical barrel, motor- gear box arrangement at the top and a control panel fixed at the wall to operate. This vertical rice washer can be used as a soaking vessel for rice up to 4 to 6 hours of soaking. Due to this number of collection vessels are saved and an additional space required to keep these vessels are eliminated. After soaking of Rice 4 to 6 hours, it can be washed immediately as it is in the vessel. In the control panel, timer control and speed control are provided to control the wash cycle. The blades will rotate in forward and reverse direction for better washing. This time of reverse rotation can be changed from 30 seconds to 3 minutes according to our washing needs. Approximately for 200kg rice washing, 15 minutes are required for rough washing and 5 minutes are for rinsing and another 3 minutes for final rinsing. This time may vary little bit here and there according to the rice conditions. In this Rice washer, collection vessels can be kept at the bottom side of the machine to collect the washed rice. This collection vessel having a strainer welded at the bottom side will allow the waste water to pass through and rice is remaining in the vessel. And also, this vessel can be moved to other areas using trolley wheels fixed at the bottom side effortlessly. Further it can be moved to weighing scale to make the rice final weight that to be put in to the grinder. This vertical rice washers are having three main advantages,
